Patchstack is looking for an experienced Chief Marketing Officer to set us up for the next stages of our growth.
What is Patchstack?
Patchstack is on a mission to make open source software more secure. We do this by bringing together the security research community, software vendors and web hosting companies to deliver more secure products to the end users.
The role
We’re looking for an experienced CMO to build and lead a company wide marketing & brand strategy. You’ll be responsible for creating high level marketing strategies with a focus on accelerating revenue growth. You’ll also be setting up KPIs to track progress towards our bigger goals, and you’ll be responsible presenting your vision and results to the board.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans focusing on revenue growth
- Develop marketing budgets to support these plans
- Develop KPIs to measure the effectiveness of different marketing strategies
- Present & report on key marketing metrics to the board
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure alignment on business objectives
- Build relationships with industry players and find new opportunities for growth
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering innovation and professional growth
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in marketing, especially in leadership roles
- Proven experience creating successful pricing and positioning strategies
- Strong analytics skills & demonstrated experience using data to make effective decisions
- Deep knowledge of the open source ecosystem
- Preferably a strong understanding of the open source security space
