Patchstack is looking for a technical content writer to join our team. You’ll be creating useful content to help people build better - and more secure - WordPress sites. While we are not necessarily looking for a cybersecurity expert, this role does require a good understanding of WordPress security.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a true advocate of WordPress. This role requires a deeper technical understanding of WordPress & PHP, and a nuanced understanding of WordPress security.
We’re looking for someone who loves sharing tips & tricks about WordPress - you don’t just enjoy building websites, but you also want to share your experiences with others.
You would be writing articles & tutorials on various WordPress-related topics, focusing on security, as outlined in our content plan. You’ll also have a chance to bring your own ideas to the table.
Key responsibilities
- Write WordPress security-related articles for the Patchstack website, based on our existing content plan
- Review articles written by our external content partners & contributors for accuracy
- Research, suggest & write on additional topics you think our readers could benefit from
Key requirements
- Strong technical understanding of the WordPress platform
- Knowledge of security in the WordPress context is a big plus
- Good understanding of PHP
- Excellent written English
- A curious mindset - you’ll have a chance to learn a lot!
